10-module self-guided experience (with optional coach-supported add-on) to welcome the Winter within and emerge rested, replenished & ready for Spring…at any time of year

Can you feel it, too?

There's an instinctual longing to shift from the activity of Summer and the busy routine of Autumn to the Winter season of slowing down, turning inward, getting cozy and finding stillness within. Our own unique energetic cycles may create “seasons” in our lives that aren’t necessarily aligned with the planetary seasons, but we can always draw wisdom and inspiration from them. In a world where we are seldom encouraged to slow down, rest and turn inward, this is your invitation to follow that primal nudge and offer yourself a time of rest and renewal…no matter the time of year.

Are you ready for a deep pause, to let the busy-ness fall away and to savour the coziness of Winter energy?

Do you want to connect more deeply during this season to your inner wisdom, to release burdens and expectations, and carve out internal stillness?

The dark and cold time of year in the Northern Hemisphere provides the perfect energy for introspection, and we can access it at any time of year.

For gathering our energetic resources, enjoying the bounty of harvests and finding quiet.

For resting, replenishing and preparing for the the light to return.

Self-Guided Experience: Questions and Answers

Q: How does this experience work? What do I need?

A: Once you enrol, you’ll get access to a private page on my site which I will share through an email where you will find all the content for all 10 modules. You can download these files to your own device, or access them on the private page. That way, you can go back and revisit any content that you want.

I recommend you have a journal or notebook to capture your reflections, responses to journaling or inquiry responses and headphones might be a nice touch if you want some privacy while you listen to or watch the audios or videos.

The basic flow of the experience is: watch or read the contextual information on that week’s topic; listen to the guided visualization/meditation; and respond to the journal prompts. If you wish, you can implement the suggested self-sustaining / self-care practices, and explore, at your desire, any other deepening resources I provide, such as articles, music or art.

Q: What’s the time commitment for this experience?

A: You may be able to absorb each module in as little as 15-20 minutes…or you may choose to dedicate more time to allow the information and prompts to percolate within you. I recommend setting aside at least an hour a week, and ideally, a little time every day (or most days) to engage in the experience and offer yourself the deep rest and replenishment you crave. Make this time as special or as simple as you like. You might want to start a certain morning each week with this experience while you sip your coffee or tea. Or, you may want to carve out time at the end of your day, or anywhere in between, or dedicate a full morning or afternoon each weekend to your embering time.

Q: Can I connect with others during this experience?

A: There will not be a dedicated community platform or social media group for this experience. However, feel free to enrol along with a friend or loved one and share your experiences with each other. And you can reach out to me throughout the experience with questions, thoughts and ah-ha’s.

Coaching Add-on: Questions and Answers

Q: How does this experience work? What do I need?

A: Once you enrol, you’ll receive an email with details on booking your 3 x 30-minute coaching sessions. Each session, we’ll first arrive and become present together, and I’ll invite you to share your experience with the content of the self-guided program. I’ll coach you on anything that arises (you choose where to focus), and we’ll co-create actions (or inactions!) for you to carry out (or quit) between sessions, and offer gentle accountability designed specifically for you.

Periodically over the 3 sessions, we’ll check in on your sense of well-being to track the impacts of your embering.

Again, I recommend you have a journal or notebook to capture your reflections, responses and commitments in during our time together.

Q: What’s the time commitment for this experience?

You’ll want to set aside your coaching session time (30 minutes each time), and you will also want to dedicate some additional time outside the coaching sessions to engage in additional journaling, self-sustainment practices, other selected integration actions and deepening exploration…perhaps another hour (or more!) each week. I recommend allotting time each day, or most days, to fully experience the impact of your embering. It can be helpful (and fun and nourishing) to ritualize this time…light a candle or fire, make a special cup of tea, wrap yourself in a warm blanket. Allow yourself to Winter.
